BJJWhat is Brazilian jiu-jitsu
BJJ, a mind sport that commits to each
individual’s purpose.
Pre-war jiu-jitsu was introduced to Brazil, evolved into the strongest martial art, and returned to
Japan.
It is the strongest martial art created by the Brazilian Gracie family, inherited by Japanese Mitsuyo
Maeda. It has three pillars: self-defense, combat, and sports. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu was devised so that
even opponents who are inferior in physique and strength can win. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu simplified the
martial art, and the competition aspect is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
